The Beauty of Creation

This was the article which I wanted to post on Medium yesterday and it didn't allow me, and it's the reason why this blog is live now

This one will be a quick one but dad shared a picture of me that honestly IT MADE MY DAY! And I was already having a great day.

A month ago I had mandarins at home that I never get the chance to eat them somehow, and i was going to my sister’s place everyday and mom and dad there, so I took the bag of mandarins and it was in the early evening sunset time, we sat outdoors, the weather is nice, and I peeled all the Mandarins and gave each person in the family their portion.

That Mandarin I actually bought by mistake, because I usually buy the Turkish smooth peel one because it’ll be so sweet and seedless, but I don’t know how I forgot and I bought Chinese Mandarins, and they were seedy AF!

So we got loads of seeds and celine kept on eating the mandarins and coming to spit the seed in my try.

And when we finished, I said…come lets plant them maybe they’ll grow. And we took bunch of seeds and I showed her how to scatter them in the pot of a big plant next to us, and then gave her the mandarin’s peel and showed her how to use it as a shovel to cover the seeds with the dirt.

We did so, and it’s dad’s daily duty to water the plants so he did his runs and we completely forgot about it.

Today dad sends me this:

And he said:

Your seeds have grown!

And I saw that and literally my smile was from one ear to the other!! Whattttt an amazing thing that is!!!

And I said dad quickkk go tell celine she’ll be thrilled but apparently she is doing her online school, and even if he told her, they don’t know how to hype the kids like I do, dad would do a half assed:

“come see the plant” in a very nonchalant tone

While I’d be shouting all over the house:

CICIIIII!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE ITTT!! OUR SEEDS HAVE GROWN!!!!!!

So I don’t know how the news was delivered but its so fascinating! Like whatever will come out of this is something that me and celine created together, what a great way to bond.

You know I love gardening, and I love cooking food from whatever grows in my own garden.

And thats why I always say I’ll eventually have a house in the village, it will be modern and everything I’ve dreamt of, but it will also have a big land for farming, and I’ll have all of my herbs and veggies which I grow with my own hands.

There’s nothing more beautiful than creation! And I think humanity took the L when they diverted from being creators to being consumers.

Its so sad that we live a life where if the government blocks imports then we starve, if the government closes the water supply we die of thirst.

We became completely dependent on systems that make us nothing but slaves, we pay for water and food when it was given to us for free by god.

During my time here in Nepal, I’ll be spending good time volunteering in farms there are sooo many opportunities to learn and help out while I still have time and internet to work on my business. I’d love to do that actually, as there’s no better way to learn than to experience.

P.S: I’ve hit publish to this by 12:45 PM and stupid medium told me I can’t because I’ve already published two articles in 24 hours.

Such absurd service and I can’t believe I paid an annual payment for this shit! I honestly don’t see any value for me writing on Medium, those far and in between times that a stranger stumbles across my articles, I think I can do without them.

Guess I’ll build a side project of my own blog and start posting there AS MUCH AS I WANT.
