The AI Apocalypse

Ahhhhh the frustration! Yesterday I was playing around with Claude Code, literally playing around with no prior expertise or knowledge, and what led me to it, is the fact that I wanted to scrape businesses from google maps for a specific small island.

I searched on Google for a free solution, got the first chrome extension…nope

The second…nope

A website that does it, says it gives you 1000 free listings scraping and only ends up giving 10.

Github free solution too complicated for my brain as i dont have tech background.

Frustrated I go to Claude Code and I prompt it in the most simple way, something like:

Create for me a google maps scraper for X island, I want all the businesses available:

Restaurants, spa, hotels, things to do…etc.

Thats it….hit enter.

The AI started rolling…and it asked me few simple questions to understand more what I want, and gave me options.

I chose, I said I want the free options so whatever you suggest make sure the API used is free, I also chose how much details do i want (the bot gave me 3 options of the depth of data exported needed and i chose one)

Thats it!

And I was simultaneously attending an online Vibe coding course, the people who do it are in europe and the US so the time zone for me is fucked up!

Personally I’m in a deep sleep 99.9% by 9:30–10 pm. So these ones the first session start by 10:30 and another live vibe coding session starts by 11:45 pm.

I am caffeinating myself so I can do it (attempt to do it) and when I feel bored I do something on the side while listening.

So here, I was watching the Claude bot jotting away what its doing in the terminal telling me everything thats going on in very simple english.

And while I was watching it….i fell asleep next to my laptop.

Woke up the next day I forgot i had claude bot doing anything, so i just closed my laptop and started my morning routine.

While I was sipping on my coffee, I remembered it and panicked!!! That i closed my laptop! I open it quick and here I see:

“The export is done, find it here:”

I rushed to that folder and my mind was blown! I personally have scraped sooo many times using soooo many tools! And nothing gave me such clean export with INSANELY SIMPLE PROMPTING….FOR FREE!!!

My jaw dropped! I mean I was already building agentic workflows for few months now, but there was a learning curve, its a bit complicated, it requires brain power and focus.

But what the fuck is this!!!! HOW ON EARTH! Did I just prompt a tool, like i chat on chatgpt, with only 2 lines prompt not even a detailed one. And ended up with THE BEST SCRAPING SCRIPT IN THE LAND!

I rushed to my instagram and started talking about it on my stories, the first story views were the usual as people expect comedy from me, so always the first story top views count…then once they realised its not comedy its a knowledge share…..90% dropped.

I left my stories for less than an hour and deleted them, because when i saw how people dropped once i started teaching them or raising their awareness about Claude Code…I felt disgusted!

Disgusted from their stupidity, disgusted by their lack of ownership of their lives, the lack of any interest in using their brains.

They are too dumb to even listen! And whats making me panic is the fact that what i did with claude code wasn’t anything technical! Nothing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

I prompted it like chatgpt and I got a product!! A fully functional product! Better than the paid solutions online.

My heart sank….

Because chatgpt because mainstream and spread like wildfires in a matter of months, and in a matter of year even my mom and dad rely on it…..the apocalypse.

My dumb followers are deaf! I am literally shouting that companies will sooo easily now replace them! Whatever you spend 9 hours a day behind a screenworking, now your organization can just simply…prompt ai once.

And you’re gone….

Your husband is fired…

You can’t afford your kids schools.

Rent, the bills….

You say im pessimistic…and you are too dumb to even go try and see how easyyyy it is to replace you! Not in the far future! No no….NOW! This MINUTE!

Do you know what means for the jobs market? Its already too saturated now! Already its taking now 5 months and sometimes up to a year for TOP TALENT to get hired, due to ai cv filtration and lazy dumb HRs.

How would you find any job? When your organization instead of paying you $8,000 a month, can just pay $100 a month and prompt a replica of you, one that doesn’t get sick, doesn’t complain, doesn’t spread toxicity, and produce 100x better quality than you.

Sigh…..

It’s absolute horror.

And I created a new Linkedin account because I want to be selective with who/what appears on my feed, because I cannot tolerate one more dumb fuck corporate minions who’s an AI expert, global head of digital transformation to come tell me how I’m dramatic! And that:

“AI will not be taking your jobs, but those who know how to use AI will”

Hahahah! THAT damned cliche was valid 4 years ago habibi! WAKE THE FUCK UP!

Ya alla its soooo easy! Sooo easy!!!!!

The AI apocalypse is coming, and before it comes I’ll make sure I made shit loads of money and have my offgrid home where I have my farm, my own water supply and my own solar power generators.

And when chaos unfolds…”The Purge” movie kind of chaos.

I’ll be singing and chanting while I am harvesting my potatoes and feeding my chickens.

And when I check the internet once a day…just to keep up with the news…I’ll smile and say to myself:

I told you so :)
